Don’t miss Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s October events. This month expectant mothers can experience a drive-thru maternity fair. Learn the common causes of shoulder pain and hear about the latest treatment options available. Breastfeeding moms can get support, discuss concerns and get tips during a weekly support group. 

All online events are hosted in Microsoft Teams. You must register to receive an email link to join prior to the scheduled event date. 

Table for Two — Online Breastfeeding Support Group 

Wednesdays in October, 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. 

Online Support Group 

Table for Two is a weekly, casual gathering for breastfeeding mothers to talk with other moms, discuss concerns and learn tips on breastfeeding. Attendance is encouraged after your baby is two weeks old. Call 864-560-BABY for more information. Click on the link above to register. 

Child Passenger Safety Seat – Virtual Inspection

Virtual meeting

Prepared Parents: Infant Care 

Thursday, Oct. 14, 6 – 8 p.m. 

Online Class 

Designed to prepare expectant parents for their baby’s impending arrival, this class teaches routine care for a newborn. Just the Ticket: Child Car Safety Course 

Monday, Oct. 18, 4 – 5 p.m. 

Online Class 

Learn about South Carolina’s child passenger safety laws and ways to keep your child safe while in a vehicle. Attendees who have violations of the child passenger occupant law on their records can receive a certificate of completion as proof of participation. Click on the link above to register. 

Diabetes Wellness Circle 

Tuesday, Oct. 19, 12 – 1 p.m. 
Online Support Group 

A monthly online support group intended to support, encourage and educate anyone living with diabetes. Each session will contain 30 minutes of education followed by 30 minutes of discussion. Prepared Breastfeeding 

Tuesday, Oct. 19, 6 – 8 p.m. 
Online Class 

This two-hour class will help you get a healthy start to breastfeeding your newborn. Learn about milk production, feeding cues, latching techniques, milk storage and problem-solving tips for successful breastfeeding.
